Payroll Deduction/Direct Deposit : First Trust Credit Union

Direct Deposit is a convenient way to have your entire check (payroll/social security etc.) electronically deposited into your credit union account.

Payroll Deduction will let you deposit only a portion of your check into an account of your choice to pay monthly bills, loan payments, or help to build your saving account.

SIMPLE – If your employer offers electronic deposits, all you need to do is provide them with First Trust’s routing and transit number 271291457 (also called ABA number) and your account number. Your Direct Deposit will generally start within 2-4 weeks

If you receive a phone call (or text message) representing First Trust Credit Union and the caller wants to verify account activity, do not rely on Caller ID and DO NOT SHARE YOUR PERSONAL OR ACCOUNT INFORMATION. Instead, hang up and call the credit union immediately to determine whether an issue exists.
